Chocolate Kiss Cookies

(I wish I could take credit for the genius behind these, but it’s all the work of Picky Palate – I just adapted it a little bit)

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 sticks butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 375˚F.
  • Mix together flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.
  • Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl until thoroughly combined. Add eggs, one at a time; beat well. Gradually mix in the flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Wrap dough around chocolate kisses, leaving tall – do not press dough down.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes until fully cooked and golden brown. Let cool for 15 minutes before serving… Enjoy!
