Enchilada Sauce

Enchilada Sauce

(adapted from The Faux Martha’s recipe)

Ingredients (1 bottle):

14 oz. tomato sauce
1/2 sweet onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 jalepeño, minced (seeds removed)
3/4 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tbsp. fresh cilantro
1 tbsp. white wine vinegar
1/4 c. sour cream
Coarse salt and ground pepper
Pinch of sugar

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a blender and purée until smooth.

Add a little bit of chicken stock if it’s too thick… Enjoy!
