- 2½ cups chicken broth (I used 2 cans)
- 1½ cups milk
- ¾ cup flour
- ground pepper
- onion powder
- garlic powder
- In a saucepan, bring the chicken broth and ½ cup of the milk to a boil.
- Meanwhile, slowly whisk the flour and spices into the remaining 1 cup milk until thoroughly combined.
- Turn the heat down to low, and pour the flour and milk mixture into the saucepan, whisking continuously.
- Let the mixture simmer for 10 more minutes, whisking occasionally.
